Boutique [boo-teek] - noun - any small, exclusive business offering customised, and/or specialised service. Sounds appealing, doesn't it?
In fact there are many positive investment connotations with the word boutique. We have seen a pick-up in interest in our Global Boutiques fund of late so I thought it worth re-examining the appeal of the investment boutique. We have long argued boutiques offer one of the most compelling routes to investment success. Why? For the simple fact they can provide exactly the right conditions in which talent can flourish.
