I have a dilemma. I broke the little toastie-maker we have at home.
Now, do I own up and tell my wife and risk her wrath, as it is only a few weeks old? Do I blame it on the children? Or do I hope no-one notices for ages and when they do it will be no big deal? Of course my dilemma is one that advisers and product providers must find themselves in constantly, in a more serious context. There is no doubt these dilemmas are becoming more frequent, particularly as FSA guidance notes and consultation papers seem to proliferate at a rate of knots.
