You may not have cared too much who won the US presidential election but it was one of those factors on the list of uncertainties overhanging markets. “You can knock that off the list,” as Markus Bachmann, founder of specialist resources manager Craton Capital said to me over breakfast last week on the morning of Obama’s re-election.
