One of the UK’s biggest retail funds, Standard Life Investments’ £18bn Global Absolute Return Strategies (GARS), has suffered another blow as it was announced co-founder Euan Munro is leaving to become CEO of Aviva Investors. Munro, head of multi-asset at SLI, was instrumental in developing the dozens of strategies used on the product since launch five years ago.
