What is the difference between price and value? It has been one of the biggest debates over the past 25 years. The regulator has effectively come down on the side that says price is the key determinant of whether consumers think they get value or not. If the regulator did not believe that, why would it have pressed ahead with RDR in the first place? But is it as simple as low price equals high value?
