Is it time to jump back into emerging market equities, and especially Chinese related shares?

The answer to this question very much depends on which narrative you feel comfortable with as a way of explaining what drives the volatile stock markets. In the good old days, we would probably just use one of two relatively straightforward metrics – fundamentals (focusing on valuations) and technical analysis (focusing on momentum).
