As Investment Week pointed out last month, the number of fund launches seen so far this year is more of a trickle than a deluge.
But there have been some notable launches at the margin: new offerings from a trio of well-respected fund houses, for example, are all US equity-focused. These are the Jupiter US Small and Midcap Companies fund, run by Robert Siddles; the Majedie US Equity fund, run by Adrian Brass; and five upcoming US equity funds from Artemis, run by Cormac Weldon, Stephen Moore and team.
