In that time, Artemis, for me, has become synonymous with what makes a boutique – it is a unique investment culture. It is also being different – quirky even, contrarian – and it is partially to do with the ownership, so there is a genuine alignment of interest between investors, and not just the fund managers, but the broader staff of the company.
