What is the difference between guidance and advice?
I found myself asking this question last week when I looked through a series of D2C propositions which ranged from the likes of Hargreaves Lansdown and Charles Stanley Direct to some of the new kids on the block. The ‘new kids’ included Money on Toast and Nutmeg, which not only just landed investment from Schroders, but also picked up an accolade at Investment Week’s recent IMAIA awards (see www.imaia.co.uk).
