How's the year been for you? Tough, I would imagine, if you look after clients directly.

There’s no doubt many more advisers than was generally expected have survived the initial shake-up after the introduction of RDR, but this year we have seen a significant number of adviser firms being bought and sold. As we head towards the sunset clause in April 2016, when trail commission on existing business finally ends, more firms will be bought and sold as some advisers cash in on the residual value in their firm.
