What do you think of the meerkats advert on TV? Annoying, cuddly and cute, or a brilliant piece of marketing and public relations?

I used to think they were mildly amusing, but they have long gone past their usefulness, and it is a tragic indictment of consumer life that the dolls are now bought and sold on eBay as though they are a financial asset. I am told the original idea came as a result of a slightly drunken brain-storming session by two advertising executives, who were tasked with making something as dull as an insurance and credit card comparison site interesting. I guess they succeeded. Though, I cannot remember which comparison site they represent these days.  Funnily enough, I never found the Wonga...
