Gosling's Grouse: Reinventing Mrs Miggins for investors

In an attempt to revive the fortunes of Marks & Spencer, the new boss has identified Mrs M&S as his target customer. We know she already likes the grub on offer but she doesn't seem too fussed about the clothes and apparently isn't too keen on the in-store music, so that's going.

That is about all we know about Mrs M&S, other than the fact she was flogged PPI, which she didn't need, want or even know she had, so M&S has had to put aside compensation. In this world of customer personas, apparently there is now a Mr and Mrs Debenhams - news to me - but I am guessing there is no longer a Mr Austin Reed or a Mr and Mrs BHS. So it set me thinking, what are the equivalents in our world? The personas for Artemis investors must surely be Mr and Mrs Profit Hunter, and their children the little Profits; perhaps M&G investors have Mr and Mrs Flowers and their 'offspring'...
