Much has been written about what the referendum result says about us as a nation.

Are we inherently racist because, for some, immigration was an issue? Are we cynical about the economic benefits of the UK, or was it a mass vote against the political establishment? It is probably all of the above, but a turnout of 72% shows that democracy is alive and well, even if lots of people did not get the result they wanted.
