Talking to experienced private investors, I am always struck by the growing sense of frustration with central bankers, QE generally, and low interest rates superficially. The cynic in me reckons it is all down to the predominantly grey hair of said investors, but nevertheless the feeling of victimisation is palpable. Despite these sentiments my indisputably contrarian message - that rates will remain low not for just years but decades to come - tends to go down as well as a feminist at Donald Trump's birthday party.
