What a funny old year it has been - and there are still a few weeks to go!

Looking back over the past 12 months, we started off worrying the Chinese economy - now the second largest in the world - was about to implode as a result of bad debts related to its inflated property market. However, after a couple of smart sets of statistics on growth expectations - which no-one really truly believes - we could all relax.
