I always thought fake news was something that was not true but was portrayed as being so, but you will inevitably find someone out there who thinks it is real. We seem to be moving into a worrying world where opinions are being put forward as truth, making it harder for the intelligent and sensible among us to differentiate between fact and opinion, while statistics are increasingly being used by those who want to create fake news.
