Gosling's Grouse: North Korean tensions

I am one of just a number of people who have ever been to North Korea, but does that make me an expert about how the current tensions will play out?

I suspect the answer is 'only marginally', not least because I follow the politics of the region quite closely and have ever since I visited the country. For what it is worth, I do not think the tensions will go much higher than they are.  The cost of the reunification of North and South Korea is one the US, China, Japan and the Koreas themselves do not want, and cannot currently afford.
