The US President continues to shock with his tweets and comments, but there has been steady buying of US shares since he was elected, writes John Redwood, chief global strategist at Charles Stanley.

Market commentators and professionals often do not like what the President tweets, but many investors seem to buy into Republican party economic policies. One of the features of this worried bull market is how many people do not believe in it.
