It is often said the problem with regulators is they spend so much time looking at past problems they miss the ones coming up.

If you applied this criticism to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), how would it be judged when it comes to the dual challenges of the British Steel Pension Scheme and Bitcoin? Treasury eyes Bitcoin crackdown On Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, it seems to be delivering. CEO Andrew Bailey has very sensibly joined the chorus of warnings and could not have been much clearer that people risk losing everything if they 'invest'. I struggle to use the word invest, as even with the partial legitimisation of cryptocurrencies following two US futures exchanges launching contract...
