The opportunities for investing in start-up businesses are wide and varied, writes Baybars Altuntas, chairman of the World Business Angel Investment Forum.

The GDP of 120 nations grew more quickly in 2017 than in the preceding years, with Asia showing by far the greatest growth rate, outstripping the US and Europe by a huge amount.
