It is no secret the asset management industry has an issue with a lack of diversity and it is not a problem that is going to be solved overnight.
Six months after gender pay gap reports were published, showing financial services had the widest mean gap of all sectors at 25.9% and one asset manager even had a pay gap of 49%, it is going to take years (if not decades) to see real improvement and greater female representation within boards, senior management teams, investment teams and across workforces.
