At the start of this week, my firm City Hive was honoured with an invitation to open trading at the London Stock Exchange by FTSE Russell.
The timing of this was particularly poignant, given that it is International Women's Day this Friday. This is one awareness day that has gained real momentum over the years, even among large corporations in the industry. Why shouldn't it? It is a day that serves to highlight the much overlooked and undervalued contribution of women to society. It also stands as a reminder that we are far from achieving true gender equality globally, both for men and for women.
