There are areas of “substantial value” within the UK equity market, according to some investment professionals, who believe that geopolitical uncertainty is more than priced into equities, while companies with strong fundamentals have been unfairly swept up in broad-based negative investor sentiment.
However, others warn that while it is important to look through market noise, Brexit uncertainty will nevertheless "hamstring" growth in the UK over the medium-to-long term, so its equities should be approached with caution.
