In July this year, the £1.2bn Allianz Technology trust will be handed over to Mike Seidenberg, who takes on the management at a challenging time, following in the footsteps of Walter Price, who has led the trust since 2007.
Both managers sat down with Investment Week to discuss how technology trends have changed over the past years and what is next for the trust. From the beginning of 2007 until the end of 2021, the Allianz trust returned an eyewatering 1,582.6%, double that of the Association for Investment Companies Technology and Media sector at 759.3%, according to FE fundinfo.
