IA: Help employees do their 'gay job'

Encourages firms to have 'a queer eye for the LGBT+ ally'

The Investment Association (IA) has urged member firms to help their LGBT+ employees do their "gay job", whereby they participate in their company's diversity networks, as part of a suite of recommendations to improve inclusivity.

In a report published on Tuesday (2 July) aimed at helping employers recruit and retain LGBT+ talent and build inclusive workplace environments, the IA encourages firms to have "a queer eye for the LGBT+ ally" by encouraging the support of colleagues.
