M&G makes trio of manager changes

Richard Halle to take charge

M&G Investments has announced Richard Halle will become manager of a trio of equity funds as two investors step back from their management duties.

Halle has been appointed as manager of M&G's £121m European Select and €89m M&G (Lux) Pan European Dividend funds. He will replace Phil Cliff on both mandates, who will turn his focus to sustainable investment research for M&G. Meanwhile, Halle will also become co-manager alongside Daniel White and Shane Kelly on the £311m M&G Global Recovery fund. Incumbent manager David Williams will be stepping down from all fund management responsibilities. This includes his role on the M&G Recovery fund, where Elina Symon will replace him.
