Candriam has appointed Ryan Welch as senior relationship manager in its London office as the latest move in its strategy to strengthen its position in the UK wholesale market.
Welch will be responsible for the distribution of Candriam funds to discretionary clients based in London. Before joining Candriam Welch was business development director at Aviva Investors where he was also responsible for its London-based discretionary clients. Candriam launches climate action fund Prior to this, Welch began his 20-year career in the investment industry at HSBC Global Asset Management before moving to roles in sales and marketing at AXA Investment Managers.
