Quantitative trading specialist Vanguard Capital has hired Imran Lakha as a senior adviser to its management team.
Lakha, previously a portfolio manager at BlueCrest Capital Management, will be responsible for helping drive business growth and overseeing construction of Vanguard Capital's algorithm-based portfolios, against the group's ambitions of "becoming the market leader in quantitative investment strategies".
