M&G Investments has launched a corporate emerging market bond fund it says will focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) characteristics.
M&G (Lux) Emerging Markets Corporate ESG Bond fund, a Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV, will be managed by Charles de Quinsonas, who will be supported by M&G's head of emerging market debt Claudia Calich. ESG analysis is "an important complement to traditional financial analysis" and aligns clients more closely with their environmental and social value, de Quinsonas said. He also co-manages a raft of other emerging market bond funds.
