Head of wealth management at Seven Investment Management Alex Montgomery has left the firm just a year after it acquired TCAM Asset Management, where he served as joint CEO.
When 7IM bought TCAM in July 2018, Montgomery and fellow joint-CEO Haig Bathgate became partners and investors in 7IM, and also joined the firm' management committee. 7IM said in a statement Montgomery had "spent much of the last year focused on ensuring the smooth integration of TCAM's business, clients and team within 7IM". The firm's CEO Dean Proctor added that Montgomery had "worked tirelessly to help us complete a smooth integration process, delivering a successful outcome for all concerned".
