PGIM has hired former Prudential Financial portfolio manager Zulfiqar Ali as a senior portfolio manager within its fixed income unit’s emerging markets team.
Reporting to co-heads of emerging markets David Bessey and Cathy Hepworth, Ali will be based in PGIM's Newark office and will specialise in Latin American hard currency sovereign and quasi-sovereign bond positions across emerging markets strategies. PGIM launches EMD fund Ali joins from Fort Washington Investment Advisors where he was a senior portfolio manager for emerging markets fixed income.
