State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) has hired ex-BlackRock ESG specialist Carlo M. Funk to head its ESG investment strategy in the EMEA region.
SSGA said Funk will work with the ESG research and development, investment research and management teams to design ESG investment solutions for advisers, consultants and institutional clients. The role will include assessing the ESG impact of clients' portfolios and identifying specific financial solutions to align with their ESG objectives.
