Aviva Investors has launched a European equity climate fund as it aims to take advantages of opportunities from the transition to a low-carbon economy.
The Aviva Investors Climate Transition European Equity Fund will invest in companies deriving material revenues from goods and services addressing climate change mitigation and adaption, Aviva said. It will also target firms aligning their business models for a warmer, low-carbon world. The fund will be run by Francoise Cespedes and has been supported with a €100m seed investment from Aviva France.
