JPMAM real assets trust IPO raises £150m

Company to start trading on 24 September

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has raised £148.9m with the launch of the JPMorgan Global Core Real Assets trust (JARA).

The board of the new investment trust confirmed 148,974,889 ordinary shares have been issued and the company will start trading on the London Stock Exchange on 24 September. The starting net asset value of JARA is estimated to be 99.01 pence per ordinary share. JPMAM announced the trust's launch in July, when the firm said it is looking to raise £500m by launching an investment trust that it said will bring its expertise in real asset securities to the marketplace for the first time.
