Value Partners launches all-China fund for UK investors

Will invest in onshore and offshore stocks

Hong Kong-based asset management firm Value Partners has launched an all-China equity fund for UK and European retail investors, following an increase in demand from clients.

Managed by investment director Man Wing Chung, the Dublin-domiciled fund will hold between 80 and 100 onshore and offshore stocks at any one time, with the top 20 to 30 stocks accounting for approximately two-thirds of the fund's total NAV. Stocks will be chosen on a bottom-up basis and the vehicle will be benchmarked against the MSCI China All Shares index.
