Ocean Dial bolsters management team with India co-head of equity hire

Will assume full management of Gateway to India fund

Ocean Dial Investment Funds ICAV (ODIF) has appointed Tridib Pathak as co-head of equity at Ocean Dial India, the India-based adviser to Ocean Dial Asset Management.

Pathak is to assume full management of the soft-closed $400m Gateway to India fund, currently managed by Gaurav Narain, in due course. Narain took over the management of the fund from Sanjoy Bhattacharyya, after he stepped down earlier this year due to poor health. Facing the 'undeniable risks posed by trade wars' to Asian equities Pathak joins from Enam Group, where he was a senior portfolio manager. His previous roles included CIO of Lotus Asset Management and CIO of DBS Cholamandalam, a JV with DBS of Singapore. He brings with him 20 years' experience in India's fund manageme...
