Law firm Leigh Day has received over 500 enquiries in less than a fortnight after announcing an investigation into Hargreaves Lansdown's relationship with Woodford.
The consumer law team at Leigh Day is investigating Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) in relation to its promotion of the Woodford funds, in particular the Woodford Equity Income fund (WEIF). It is investigating whether HL misrepresented the health of WEIF while continuing to recommend it, ultimately resulting in losses for their clients. 2019: An appalling year for Woodford The relationship has been called into question "not least because [HL] upgraded and continued to include [WEIF] in its Wealth 50 list of recommended funds, up until the fund was suspended in June 2019".
