Pinnacle boutique enters Europe with market-neutral UCITS launch

Pinnacle Investment Management-affiliated boutique Plato Investment Management has entered the UCITS space with the launch of a global market neutral fund.

Sydney-based Plato Investment Management's Plato Global Market Neutral fund will target total returns in excess of 10% per annum with zero correlation to equity markets. The third sub-fund of the Dublin-based UCITS umbrella distributed by Pinnacle Investment, which partially owns Plato, it will be managed by the boutique's CEO Don Hamson and lead portfolio manager David Allen. Allen is the former co-manager of the €6bn AUM JPM Europe Equity Plus fund and former manager of the market neutral JPM Europe Equity Absolute Alpha fund.
