M&G is set to launch an OEIC version of its ESG High Yield strategy, which currently exists only as a Luxembourg-based SICAV fund with £55m in AUM as of 30 September.
The M&G Global High Yield ESG Bond fund was launched in August 2017 under the management of deputy head of wholesale fixed income Stefan Isaacs, alongside Lu Yu and James Tomlins, who co-manages the High Yield Bond fund with Isaacs. Speaking at the firm's Bond Vigilantes forum on Tuesday (12 November), Isaacs said while the ESG Global High Yield fund "currently only exists as a SICAV, the plan is to launch an OEIC version very shortly". The fund is up 7.8% over one year to 12 November, while the IA Sterling High Yield sector is up 5.7%, according to FE. Since launch, the fund is up 7....
