James Bateman, previously chief investment officer of Fidelity's multi asset business, has launched New Value Investment, which is preparing to offer equity and multi asset funds.
Bateman left Fidelity in July after seven years to set up his own venture, having also held roles at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management and Northern Trust Asset Management. "Subject to regulatory approval, we plan to manage equity and multi-asset strategies built around a redefined concept of value, reflecting a belief that responsible behaviours by companies drive long-term value creation," Bateman said.
