Fidelity promotes McCaffery to global CIO of asset management role

Bart Grenier to take up senior position at Fidelity in February 2020

Fidelity International has announced Andrew McCaffery will become global chief investment officer (CIO) of asset management, succeeding Bart Grenier who has held the position since January 2018.

McCaffery joined Fidelity International from Aberdeen Standard Investments in July this year in the newly-created role of global chief investment officer of alternatives and solutions. He had also acted as Grenier's deputy. Grenier is set to return to the US in mid-February 2020 to take up a senior position at Fidelity Investments.
