Suspension 'linked to 'M&G Property Portfolio'

M&G Prudential has suspended its UK property fund following the suspension of the M&G Property Portfolio, Investment Week's sister title Professional Adviser has revealed.

Pru said it suspended transactions on Thursday (5 December) on "a number of insured property funds" that it offers. It confirmed these funds were linked to the M&G Property Portfolio fund, which was suspended earlier this week. Pru said the suspension does not impact the PruFund growth, PruFund Cautious or the Risk Managed PruFund range of funds as they do not invest in M&G property.  This is not the first time the fund, first launched in 2001, has been suspended.
