BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM) has hired Valentina Chen as co-head of the emerging markets debt team, as the firm looks to bolster its EMD product range.
Chen, who joins from Bank Vontobel AG in Zurich, will work alongside co-head Jonathan Mann, focusing on local currency investments across emerging markets. BMO is planning to strengthen its product range in the area over the medium-term in a bid to provide clients with a broader range of opportunities to drive performance outcomes.
