The yield target on the LF Woodford Income Focus fund will be tweaked once under the stewardship of new investment manager Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI), Link Fund Solutions has confirmed.
In a short letter to investors currently trapped in the fund, Link confirmed ASI took over the portfolio on 31 December 2019, with the name of the fund set to change to LF ASI Income Focus on 23 January 2020. It also confirmed that it would amend how it defines the fund's aim of delivering 'a high level of income' on 23 January. Once ASI is in charge, the fund "will aim to achieve a yield higher than the average yield of the FTSE All-Share index over a three-year rolling period".
