Impax AUM jumps 7% in first quarter

Net inflows healthy despite challenging equity market

Specialist asset manager Impax saw its assets under management increase 7% over the last quarter to £16.1bn.

The AIM-listed investor, which focuses on sustainable investments, said the first quarter of its financial year (to 31 December 2109) continued to see strong inflows of capital, despite a challenging environment for equity markets. Total new inflows over the quarter stood at £771m.
