Financial markets data provider Refinitiv has joined forces with a number of leading organisations to launch the Future of Sustainable Data Alliance, aiming to accelerate the "mobilisation of capital into sustainable finance".
Refinitiv has teamed up with the World Economic Forum, United Nations, the Climate Bonds Initiative, and the Bejing-based Tsinghua University and Institute of Public & Environmental Affairs among others for the initiative. The Alliance aims to provide investors with the data they need to channel capital towards the financing of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), said Refinitiv CEO David Craig.
