Hermes Investment Management and Federated Investors will begin trading under a new name, stock exchange ticker symbol and logo as part of a rebrand of the $576bn AUM combined business.
Federated Hermes' common stock will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FHI for the first time today (3 February). It follows Federated Investors' 2018 acquisition of a majority stake in Hermes Fund Managers. Since then, Federated has launched five mutual funds for US investors modelled on existing Hermes products, integrated the London-based firm's ESG factors into its liquidity fund investment decision process, and is currently in the process of incorporating the same into Federated equity and fixed-income strategies.
