Neuberger Berman has announced the acquisition of Almanac Realty Investors, a former Rothschild real estate unit, to complement its current REIT strategies.
Almanac, which was founded in 1981 and later spun out as an independent firm in 2007, will continue to operate as a distinct investment platform. It will be led by managing partner Matthew Kaplan, and investment committee members Pike Aloian, Justin Hakimian, Josh Overbay and Andrew Silberstein, while David Haltiner is also set to join the committee.
