Schroders has completed the onboarding of £75bn of insurance and wealth-related assets from Scottish Widows and Lloyds, 18 months after it first announced the launch of its joint venture with Lloyds Bank – Schroders Personal Wealth.
The assets - which comprise more than 320 portfolios including Active Equity, Fixed Income and Multi Manager - were moved across in seven instalments between September 2019 and March 2020. Peter Harrison, group CEO at Schroders, described the onboarding of such a significant mandate as a "monumental achievement" for Schroders.
