Alternative investment manager RM Funds is to launch a fund focused on real assets and some equities in sectors supported by "long-term structural growth drivers".
The VT RM Global Real Opportunities fund aims to generate stable income and capital growth by targeting what the manager sees as sectors with the most potential. These comprise industrial digitisation, sustainability (including utilities, renewables and energy efficiency) and socio-demographic change. It will be actively managed and have the option to hedge market risk, aiming to pay a dividend distribution of between 3%-4% per annum (distributed quarterly), with the potential for further growth.
